I currently serve as CEO of DayTwo, a precision nutrition solution based on cutting edge microbiome science and AI that offers a sustainable path to remission for metabolic diseases like diabetes, prediabetes, and obesity, which affect 1 in 2 US adults. With the world’s largest proprietary gut microbiome dataset, we are excited to apply our innovative discovery platform towards life-saving interventions for chronic conditions. I have a passion for scaling digital healthcare companies who become innovators and disruptors in their respective fields. Most recently, I founded and led Kaden, an innovative behavioral health company that treats people with addiction using advanced virtual video and AI to enable personalized services and measurable impact over time. In 2012, I co-founded Oscar Insurance (NYSE: OSCR) and went on to serve as President. Oscar, now valued at almost $3 billion, is recognized as the most innovative health plan in the United States.As a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience, I have learned the healthcare space from the ground up: from sales and marketing to medical management, network contracting, health plan operations, and product development. I have held executive level positions with several nationally ranked health plans, including Fallon Community Health Plan, CDPHP, and MVP Health Care -- all recognized for their focus on quality and service. I also have considerable regional and national health plan experience in executive operating leadership roles with GHI (Emblem Health) and CIGNA. Throughout my career, I have championed the use of technologies like AI and facial recognition to change the way that care is delivered. I believe in quality of care and work with groundbreaking teams to ensure that patients have a seamless experience.
