What started as a "passion project" quickly grew into a major initiative. My lifelong passion for hockey finally aligned with my professional career in 2022 as I took on the challenge of rebranding and rebuilding a local spring hockey program in my community. The Outlaws program has now grown to include spring core teams, spring practice teams, hosting spring tournaments, strength & conditioning training plus a summer 3v3 league with hundreds of kids aged 8-14 from the North Okanagan participating. I am in charge of the day-to-day operational duties and strategic direction of the program - managing registration, conducting player evaluations and on-ice sessions, coaching, organizing Spring Shootout tournaments (4-6 events each spring), recruiting sponsors, organizing program equipment needs, recruiting coaches, managing social media activity and pretty much all else that goes into making the program tick.

At Sponsorship Connections I was tasked with looking after the day-to-day activities of the company and I generated $1.3 million in sponsorship sales for our clients. Spent time as both the Consumer Sales DBM and Business Sales DBM during my time in the dealer channel. This involved supporting all dealers operating in Alberta for both Rogers and Fido and duties included: - Management of all Distribution Account Reps who provided in-store support across the province- Development and execution of all sales related activity including sales incentives, customer promotions, special events, strategic planning and sales meetings- Monitoring sales performance while maintaining positive working relationships with staff at all levels within each dealership- Dealer growth planning including new store expansion and store opening procedures
