The surveyor’s primary duty includes the ability to QC the acquisition of real-time data from multiple sensors and ensure logging and transference of all survey data to other users on the offshore asset is in accordance to the project requirements. Surveyor will also ensure that all survey data deliverables and documentation is completed on time and within specification. The Surveyor will also be familiar with the basic principles of survey data processing and geodesy.Also, responsible for the correct operation of survey equipment, survey sensors and on line survey software on offshore projects, along with the installation of surface and subsurface survey & navigation systems including equipment calibrations. and to ensure collection of data is according to defined project specifications. Other duty's include the ability to fault find and maintain the survey equipment and data networks to ensure a consistent quality of data and that operational equipment redundancy is kept at the maximum level.
