Manage a team of HQ Director roles and a team of National Account Director/ Executive roles, and accountable for defining a vision, strategies and priorities for the US Vaccines Contracting and Distribution Strategies organization. Work collaboratively with all US support functions, the brand teams, the portfolio marketing strategy team and field sales teams to support brand objectives for our vaccine portfolio and ensure resource optimization.

Lead and direct a team focused on monitoring of the US market landscape, financial analysis that informs and shapes brand contract strategies and establishing operational capabilities supporting efficient execution in the Medical and Pharmacy benefit spaces.

Responsible for developing and communicating data-driven and actionable insights that drive greater customer and market understanding to inform launch strategies, business development opportunities and help meet in-line commercial objectives. Acts as a “First” point of contact for our commercial Oncology teams and quarterback for cross-functional data and analytics teams, to help scope, design and deliver well-defined projects and insights.

Lead the management of data, financial modeling and analytic capabilities supporting contracting across the US Market. Drive the capability strategy and evolution in close collaboration with Integrated Account Management, Vaccines, Oncology, Payer Marketing, Customer Contract Management and other internal and external partners.

Lead the organizational effort to shape digital marketing analytics capabilities including the development and integration of systems, tools, processes and metrics (e.g., KPIs, leading / lagging indicators, etc.). Establish and maintain a comprehensive portfolio view of performance and advise Business Unit Marketing AVP on strategies and tactics to maximize portfolio performance and optimize investment across brands, segments and channels.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable preferred market access for products across the Merck portfolio within assigned National PBM accounts in the United States Market (Express Scripts & Anthem) Collaborate with National and Regional Account Executives to manage direct and indirect contract accounts; activities include creating account level strategy and tactical plans, conducting business reviews on account performance, and leading negotiations with customers for all contracting initiatives.Create and develop analysis of customer specific business modeling, ROI and forecasting to evaluate performance and trends, with the goal of optimizing profitable net sales for the product portfolio.Responsible for building trust and credibility with assigned customers through strong interpersonal relationships, in depth knowledge of the customer's organization, objectives, and business and environmental issues impacting the customer, and in depth knowledge of the same for Merck.

Directed the strategy and execution of Planning, Advisory Services, Standard Reporting and Business Analysis in support of Managed Markets & Policy Leaders for the entire Merck portfolio in the US Market. Led, coached and developed a team of 5 Integrated Business Planners who provided advisory services to Directors and VP within Managed Markets. Directed efforts for a Manager and 2 Analysts who designed, developed and produced standard performance scorecards and reports aligned to Managed Markets Business Priorities.

Direct the strategy and execution of reporting and analytics support to Sales & Marketing Leaders in US Primary Care. Manage, coach and develop a team of analysts who design and oversee local and third party contractors in India for production of all Field Sales and Sales Incentive Reports.

Consultant to Sales VP, Directors, Managers and Account Executives to align priorities that appropriately maintain balance between Business, Customer & People. Provide decision support and guidance on budgets, resource allocations and trade-off decisions to maximize the Region contribution margin.
