Worked and played in the Outdoor Pursuits industry all my life.Have over 32 years of work experience in the outdoor adventure industry at commercial, local authority and national centres both here in the UK and abroad covering a broad range of activities,, roles and responsibities.In my later years I focussed my attention towards the Snowsports Industry, specialising in Indoor and outdoor artificial Snow Centre Operations, Development and Design.I have set up 3 facilities from scratch and been a deisgn and operational consultant for several small and large projects including Ski Dubai, Xscape Castleford, Braehead, Xanadu Madrid, Snow Park Kent and a few others which unfortunaely never broke turf. I have continued my passion for coaching throughout with regards snow sports focussing especially on high performance, working with athletes up to National Team level and even taking one African international athlete on a journey from complete beginner to the Olympic games.I am currently working for myself running my Stand Up Paddleboarding business in Stonehaven Aberdeenshire, Offering consultancy on snowsports and adventurous activity projects, Ski Coaching and am on the comittee for a planned Outdoor Adventurous project in Aberdeenshire.
