From the initial concept, I have managed the brand development including websites and imaging, the promotions team who have worked in local schools to encourage feedback and attendance, booked celebrities including Joey Essex and The Mend, managed the budgets for performers and staff, arranged radio and print advertising, and managed ticket sales.OMG Fridays! ~ Ipswich clubnightI was asked to create a night club brand to run on Fridays at Betty's Nightclub in Ipswich. The venue had been struggling with attendances of only 30 people per week. I developed the OMG Fridays! brand, with a focus on main stream music and competitive drinks offers. I organised a new drinks menu for the club, designed posters and flyers, established a promotions team to flyer and promote the night around the town and in the university halls, I planned and executed advertising and marketing through social media.OMG Fridays is now the biggest Friday night in Ipswich, with attendance averaging 325 people every week over the past 12 months. It is profitable for the venue, and has also generated an upturn in business at their other club nights due to increased awareness.

Responsible for the imaging and promotional audio for the entire group. This began with a groupwide imaging package of new sweepers, demonstrators, beds, and sung jingles. Following the completion of this project, my position involved travelling to each of the stations to discuss their requirements and maintain their audio packages, regularly updating sweepers and idents, and completing promos to deadlines set by sales and marketing teams.

I mostly presented the evening show and then the daytime show. National radio was a new challenge which I enjoyed. I learned so much during my time at Atlantic, including how to produce with "a computer" (!), no more reels and cart machines! Living in a different country was culturally fascinating and exciting. Smething which I enjoyed and would love to do again one day.
