I have always been deeply interested and engaged at the intersection of where self-as-leader interacts with their organization to create an effective, high-performing system that has a positive impact on the organizational dynamics, its adaptability to change and has a healthy culture. And then our world changed. Never before have our organizational constructs changed so radically or rapidly. The events of the past two years have dramatically changed our view of traditional organizations, leadership roles, and expectations.As a result, we need to change the way we change and change the way we lead.MY APPROACH: I support leaders working in our new and highly unpredictable world, to better understand their world, and to better understand themselves -- "self-as-leaders", and what their organization needs from them to navigate short-term transitions and create long-term solutions.Today, the self-as-leader is a critical factor in evaluating a leader's effectiveness as much as connecting with people, building relationships with stakeholders, their trustworthiness and likeability, their ability to work with their board, set strategies, make sound financial decisions, provide vision, and oversee the organization's structures and systems. I believe there is a need to break through the veil between the study and application of organizational effectiveness in our new world. I am dedicated to organizational leaders becoming more skilled at change leadership and systemic solutions, and integrating the increasing complexity of technology with the need of supporting the humanity of their employees and customers.
