    I initially worked on a fixed term contract covering an extremely busy department, then being employed on a permanent basis. I managed the aspects of Travel and Transport for four Hospitals within the Trust. This could vary from day to day operations surrounding parking, managing the traffic flow and infrastructure of the sites and dealing with commercial transport operators, to dealing with a multitude of projects, including the proposed building of a multi-story car park and one way system on a Transport consultant basis and a new helipad, so that the Trust could keep its major trauma centre status. The role had a vast footprint and covered a magnitude of different areas that feed into other departments across the 4 sites of the Trust. I assisted dealing with ensuring that staff are able to get to work to assist the NHS with the COVID-19 Pandemic, helped set up the first vaccination centre in the world.
