Due to recent events, I am pleased to announce that Christine Jinks is leaving CSC and joining JINKS Inc. Our attention will be on JINKS Inc. focusing on gaining our planned life experiences. We have however been accepted to volunteer at Marie Curie Hospice, Solihull, starting in the New Year 2013.Level 2 Award in Food Safety obtained to allow us to work in the New Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands as volunteers in the cafe I will also continue to support my colleagues and friends with information and advice.

I have extensive knowledge of lean practices, in both manufacturing and operational areas. I’m very dedicated to the principles of “Lean Manufacturing” and constantly reviewing new approaches to this subject area and embracing any new areas where they bring additional value. I have also has extensive knowledge of collaborative working best practice both from a theoretical perspective and from an implementation perspective. This is known as the “Studio concept” within CSC.I have enjoyed the challenges of implementing change; utilising my experience and knowledge across a range of industry sectors. I also enjoy taking people on that difficult journey that is ‘change’. I focused on process improvement projects to customers in the UK and around the world and I was a member of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Staff Management Team. Lucas Engineering & Systems was the change consultancy for Lucas Industries supplying solutions to achieve lean practices.Role / Responsibilities:Technical Manager: (Apr 94 – June 95):Helped to develop a significantly profitable business, typical programmes to include, Manufacturing Cost Reductions, Quality and Performance Improvement and Manufacturing Design and Implementation.A one year implementation of Lean Manufacturing at Fosters Refrigerator (UK) Ltd over 3 phases. The first phase generated significant savings of £110K, which were used to fund the subsequent phases.Senior Design Engineer: (May 88 - 1994):Successfully implemented Lean Manufacturing at TI Cycles of India and at BICC Components. Other Lean Manufacturing training given at Rists, Westland Helicopters, Lucas Acton, Parsons, Schade, Coventry Motor Panels, Trimfold, ITC, AEPP Automotive, Marchmont, Lucas College Road and many courses at Lucas Training Centre at Hilver.
