I work for Grain and Protein Technologies Omaha division, GSI. I work on bucket elevators and chain conveyors and all that is involved in their design. I also work on design of Versa-loop. I complete customer orders, help with customers and design improvements, and aid production with the completion of bucket elevators and chain conveyors. Autocad and Creo are among my most utilized programs.

Helped to get the Engineering Department caught up. Organize, model, and help with new designs for stainless steel sheet metal feeders and tire recycling equipment. Also worked on shop equipment, custom orders, anti-freeze and oil caddies, the fertilizer tender semi-trailer, and truck grain and silage boxes. Further work was done on hydraulic schematics, reviewing part lists for feeder orders going to production, and burn patterns for the plasma cutter and laser. Also scanned new stainless steel with an x-ray fluorescent analyzer for material quality assurance.

Designed a large tiller. Design parts, weldments, assemblies, hydraulic and supply lines for tillers and sprayers. Part of designing included the use of Solidworks Simulation for finite element analysis.

Helped to bring the High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET) to a more acceptable level of quality. Document and design parts, weldments and assemblies for the High Reach Extendable Turret, teletowers and aerial ladders. Correspond with parent company and others to achieve design objectives. Assist in production and CNC plasma cutting, review torque boxes, and aid in product support. Work on the Airstair and 55 RMAP Designs.

Product design and design machines, equipment, and tools for production of passive electrical components.

Helped to get the majority of the drawings updated and put into Solidworks. Design fire truck parts and assemblies, updated and checked existing drawings, completion of engineering change notices, testing and data collection.
