Developed and presented training courses on HP1000 hardware and software for the software development and support staff. Structured analysis of the software used in the Traffic Signal Controllers to create a design object model of the software implementation. Communications consultant for the development of a real-time display to show Traffic operation.

Worked as an Electrical Engineer in the Traffic Systems Development Section developing a system called the Traffic Responsive Area Control System (or TRAC System - the predecessor to STREAMS) which controlled and monitored the operation of the traffic signals on main roads from Cairns to the Gold Coast. A system for monitoring and controlling Freeway.

Worked as a Cadet Electrical Engineer in the Traffic Systems Development Section on the Freeway Management System. Investigated vehicle detector data quality and created software based on the conservation of vehicles principles analyse detector volumes and identify and report equipment or installation faults.
