I am a Branch Manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire, previously Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on automotive recruitment. I spent 2 years working as an Assessor and Apprentice Coordinator and prior to that I spent 5 years running an Automotive Recruitment business providing quality staff. Prior to that I worked in the Motor Industry for 25 years starting my career in 1990 as a Workshop Apprentice for Godfrey Davis Ford in St Albans, progressing and working my way up through the ranks to become the Aftersales Manager by the age of 23, a role I held for 12 years. During that time I delivered excellent profitability and outstanding customer service, winning the Chairman’s Award for customer satisfaction. In 2009 I progressed my career to become Regional Aftersales Manager, working for the largest dealer group in the UK, with responsibility for the Service, Parts and Bodyshop operations for 12 Dealerships. Prior to moving into motor trade recruitment I was the Dealer Principal at the large Ford Dealership where I originally started out as an Apprentice.
