I am having the time of my life! I know that am doing the job that I am uniquely suited to for. I spent most of my youth in sales and customer service positions. I have always been good with people. When I returned to school to study technology, that personality didn't go away. Once I had the knowledge and skill to be a software developer, I realized that I would never be happy grinding out code in a cubicle. I realized that my ability to communicate with people, as well as design and write code, opened up my possibilities. I found that my strengths lay in identifying needs, and then meeting those needs through software enhancement. In my current position at Bender Group I am able to do this on a grander scale. I am able to not only meet the needs of our current customers and staff, but to help show potential customers how we can meet their needs. I have seen our customers grow and worked through the changes that come with growth. I also enjoy the unique challenges that come from working in a mid-size company that has the IT needs of a large company. Through creativity and by developing strategic partnerships we have been able to build a robust infrastructure for our enterprise. I am always looking for new and better ways of doing things. Always evaluating the past and present, and being open to what the future brings. Everyday brings new challenges and opportunities, so it is always fun to go to work.
