We raised over $150M in capital, completed the carve-out and divestiture of a professional services business unit (KMB, housing 1/3 of total employees), and we completed a strategic acquisition (Patient Pop, SaaS market leader). These are a few of the actions that helped us transform the business and increase the company’s valuation from $196 million to over $1 billion.AvettaAvetta brought me on board to help resolve foundational system, process, and people issues in order to position it for scalable growth and a sell-side exit. During my tenure, we rebuilt the GTM function, grew ARR from $40M to over $70M, and accelerated YoY revenue growth from 15% to 27%. We optimized operations and increased GM by 400%. We transformed pricing & packaging, increased ARPC by 24%, and increased NRR to over 120%. We streamlined the cost structure and increased the EBITDA margin from 0% to 30%. Together, we transformed the business, increased the company’s valuation from $95 million to $530 million, and sold the business to a large PE firm (WCAS).Appriss Retail (formally The Retail Equation)My time at Appriss Retail included the tough economic conditions of the great recession, requiring creative GTM strategies to ensure continued growth while maintaining profitability. Worked closely with the team to transform the business and lead it through two M&A exits to top PE firms. The growth initiatives included GTM strategy, pricing & packaging, partnerships, NPD, financing, M&A, & legislative strategies.Additional ExperienceIncludes leading the launch of a key joint venture in Beijing, China for Qualcomm, driving the IPO process at SkyDesk, as well as positions with Andersen.
