- Work collaboratively with the Demand Planner to translate the rolling demand plan into an effective production plan for all manufactured products, for each plant, and distribution.- Plan and prepare the production plans according to the lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates as outlined in the sales forecasts, or customer orders.- Analyze production requirements and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.- Planning workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.- Confer with the plant production managers to determine order status and communicates with sales.- Expedite operations and alters schedules where necessary to meet unforeseen conditions.- Manage inventory of domestically produced products.- KPI reporting of customer service objectives.
