Encourage Safety and Loss control while creating a positive Safety Culture.

During the course of my tenure as a Risk Manager and Safety Coordinator, supervising these areas for three districts of local government, policies and procedures were developed to ensure optimal regulatory compliance. This accompanied my leadership of a Safety Committee, strategically planning initiatives and direction to achieve government goals. Regardless of the area of responsibility, my hands-on approach to leadership, detail-oriented mindset and skill in analysis propelled these three districts in Illinois to uphold the highest standards.

Led risk assessment and improvement, specializing in worker?s compensation, property protection, sprinkler properties and construction for the insurance company. Analyzed manual material handling exposures. Performed industrial hygiene analysis for workplace solvents, dust and noise exposures. Led, developed and implemented safety programs for accounts. Conducted sprinkler analysis to determine water supply, reliability and acceptability according to NFPA standards. Noteworthy Contributions:~ Previously served as a HPR High Protected Risk Property Specialist and Worker?s Compensation Specialist.~ Scheduled training sessions with renowned and challenging-to-secure organizations.~ Reduced back strain and lifting claims by creating and facilitating customer training seminars.~ Minimized repetitive motion exposure by developing and presenting an ergonomics training program.~ Presented in-house programs to underwriters and loss control personnel in construction, ergonomics, property protection, and early return-to-work.
