The General Education Leadership Network is comprised of individuals directing general education programs in Michigan's ISDs/RESAs and was established as an organization of MAISA to:- Optimize the effectiveness of General Education programs and practices in Michigan. - Offer proactive versus reactive leadership, programs, practices and resources. - Develop a process for introducing ideas and determining if they are viable and supported.- Offer a vehicle for all ISDs/RESAs to contribute input into major decisions.- Align work on statewide initiatives. - Create a forum for discussion and deliberation regarding important issues in teaching and learning. The Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators (MAISA) is comprised of superintendents and administrators representing the 56 Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) in the State of Michigan. ISD administrators provide and coordinate essential services to their constituent school districts to facilitate teaching and learning. By coordinating efforts and resources, ISDs provide specialized services to students that would not be affordable/feasible otherwise. These services can include special education, vocational training, interdisciplinary subjects, language programs, early childhood education, parent services, community involvement, transportation, extracurricular activities, lifelong learning and adult education, and other necessary and exciting benefits are shared across districts for the success of every learner.

Our Mission is to deliver equestrian and respite programs that build mental and physical strength and relief for military veterans, under-served youth, and their families.Our Vision is to leverage our resources by collaborating with select nonprofits that are already serving these communities so as to reach the greatest number that can best benefit from our programs.

The MAISD is a strong regional education service agency serving the public schools of Muskegon and parts of Oceana, Ottawa, and Newaygo counties.Our primary mission is to provide the leadership, programs, and services that enhance the success of everyone we serve and it is our vision to be the premier source for quality educational leadership, programs, and services.
