Following my career at Chevron Phillips Chemicals I incorporated (KIS Technologies Inc.) and sought new SAP opportunities with an emphasis on the Winshuttle suite of tools. Some of the contract engagements have included:• Using Winshuttle as the primary data migration tool, played a pivotal role on a 14-month SAP implementation project at a SW Florida client of Capgemini• Used Winshuttle tools to migrate legacy data to an ECC 6 system for a San Antonio energy company.• Assisted with the implementation of Winshuttle suite of tools at a Houston oilfield service company.• Development team member on a Winshuttle workflow project at one of the nation’s leading packaged foods company.• Due diligence assessment of an SAP global implementation for a Seattle-based chemical distributor. • Led an offshore team in the design and development of multiple SAP interfaces for an international travel management client.. The nearly 14 years at Chevron Phillips afforded me a tremendous opportunity to learn SAP. The lessons learned provide an invaluable base of knowledge and experience. Some accomplishments at CPChem include:• Facilitated design of an SAP landscape that grew from a single ERP/BW install to ECC 6.0, BI, SCM/APO, GTS, CRM, GRC, PI, Portal and Solution Manager. • Coordinated annual SAP disaster recovery exercises.• Oversaw the periodic application of support stacks and upgrades for the SAP landscape.• Developed and managed a change transport process designed to minimize faulty changes being introduced to production. • Implemented an organization model that resulted in 80% of development and support being performed by an offshore team. The model assured quality deliverables while avoiding more than $1 million in development cost per year.• Achieved SAP Certified Center of Excellence recognition.My team managed to provide a highly stable SAP environment that was achieved at the lowest cost point within our industry peer group.
