My professional career began in the United States Air Force. It was this first career that set the stage for the rest. Professionalism, responsibility, determination, discipline, management, and the ability to adapt/overcome were all skills learned and implemented into my professional career. I am a successful sales professional, manager, business developer, technical problem solver, trainer, project manager in the highly competitive lighting and automation industries. I also posses the intangibles of solid relationship building and strong negotiation skills. These particular skills give me the ability to navigate the political processes and bureaucracy of the electrical, lighting, and automation businesses from Manufacturer to End-user. Most of my career has been servicing directly with large end users, in all vertical markets, to solve lighting and automation dilemmas. I have a in depth knowledge of the Government, Hospitality, Education, and Healthcare vertical markets. I am well versed and educated in LED technology, Residential / Commercial Automation, Energy Management, and Integration solutions and products. I have, over my career, represented some of the largest brands in the industry: GE, Cree, LSI, Lutron, Crestron, Cooper Lighting, AMX, Key Digital, Pioneer Electronics, Juno Lighting Group, Suera, RAB, to name a few. I have owned a Manufacturer's Representative agency, as well as growing a small business to an automation powerhouse. As Director of Operations for ILC, responsible for oversight of three platforms 1) Commercial Lighting 2) Commercial Lighting Control 3) High-end Residential Automation and A/V has taught me the skills I need to be successful in a high tech world full of new products and innovation. My current position has allowed me to work directly with large scale end users such as Space X, Blue Origins, ULA, NASA, Florida Air National Guard, Brevard County Schools, Advent Healthcare by solving project problems, assisting in automation implementation, providing LED lighting upgrades and solving unique challenges in today's lighting and automation scenarios. I have been an integral part of Affiliated (Formerly Coresesential Lighting Division) from an un-automated, small line representative in FL to a 25+ major line holder, that expanded across 5 states and 1 U.S. Territory by implementing /administering Oasis quotation platform, leveraging my relationships, providing my experience, and expertise to all facets of the operations while managing large and small projects.
