Responsibilities- Support over 500 residents, across 305 rental units; the majority being seniors in Section 8, Project Based, Tax Credit and Market apartments- Partner with on-site staff from Hebrew Senior Life’s R3 and Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s Aging Well at Home programs- Conduct and analyze annual surveys to identify unmet resident needs- Leverage community organizations, governmental and health agencies, schools and businesses to provide resident programing - Acknowledge, respond to resident concerns promptly; build trust and enhanced communication coach residents on obtaining benefits and entitlements - Manage reasonable accommodation request and address lease compliance issues Achievements - Increased resident average monthly programing hours from 27 to 115 hours - Implemented over 74 educational, health and wellness programs- Arranged for FreshTruck, a fresh fruit & vegetable bus to make weekly shopping stop affording healthy food purchases using EBT, SNAP, HIP and other forms of payment- Engaged and enabled residents to lead ongoing interest groups - Created simple resident communication tools i.e., program flyers, calendars, newsletters, TV monitor and auto-dialer messages- Spearheaded successful operation of onsite resident package locker system
