• Transferred from Downstream division to revamp and update the Inspection Services Department to ensure the inspection program would meet the minimum requirements of the BP Integrity Management Standard by EOY 2008.• Initiated a 3 year plan to close the gaps and develop a program that would meet industry standards and the BP Corporate Integrity Management Standard.• Developed and managed an annual integrity management budget that ranged between $17mm to $22mm.• Responsible for the integrity management and inspection of over 45,000 pressure vessels, 16,000 above ground storage tanks and more than 50,000 miles of process piping in both PSM and field facilities.• Managed multiple third party contract inspection companies with a total staff that peaked at more than 100 employees.• Developed and introduced numerous inspection procedures that were lacking from the existing program which streamlined the work flow process and brought consistency to the program.• Initiated and worked with third party inspection partner to develop and use a front end program to the UltraPIPE© data management software system that allowed us to batch search and batch print reports and ACAD drawings• Initiated and worked with third party inspection partner to development an electronic recommendation tracking system (RTS) that allowed us to communicate inspection results/recommendations to the field, track through closure and download the information to the UltraPIPE© data management software system.• Initiated/worked with third party inspection partner on the development of electronic field tablet technology that ultimately led to the development of a near paperless inspection process reducing overall inspection cost by more than 35%.• Added the use of Phased Array, TOFD (time of flight diffraction), GUL (guided wave ultrasonic) and computer/digital radiography inspection techniques to the BP NAG inspection portfolio
