 Responsible for Profitable growth of our Global Underwriting Department. Oversee the profitable growth of 100MM in DWP. Manage Domestic and Foreign Partner, Client and Broker relationships and Marketing efforts of the Global Production Underwriters. Direct P&L Responsibility for the operation, including all aspects of planning, expense management and operational execution. Successfully developed and launched multiple new initiatives within the department and market. Department is capable of placing compliant policies in 150+ countries.

National MarketResponsible for working with underwriting, sales and brokers to ensure plan design and pricing meets Division and Corporate pricing and profitability targets.Responsible for the Direct P&L management of the Products Division ($480MM DWP) within National Market. Span of operations have included: Contracting - General, Trades and Wrap-up, Umbrella/excess, Transportation, Energy, Finite/Loss Portfolio Transfers and Global /International and Reverse flow regions. Responsible for development of Division business plan, budget, P&L oversight as well as financial controls, expense management and reporting to the Corporate Financial Department.Daily exposure to Brokers, Production, Auditing, Sales & Marketing, Underwriting and Senior Management team members.

 Regional Underwriting Manager - Middle Market Colorado & Oklahoma ($65MM Premium) Arizona & Colorado ($62MM Premium) Florida ($ 80 MM Premium) Managed staff of up to 22 people, responsible for oversight of training & development, marketing, quality and production. Developed a quality matrix to rank new business and provide a benchmark to assess quality over time for the division, exported nationally. Developed excellent working relationships with all members of the management team at each location

 Worked in various underwriting departments such as Special Risks, Field Large Property and traditional underwriting to develop a good understanding of successful selling in a team environment and cultivated broker relations while in the property operation. Supervisor - Initiation to training and developing skills necessary to ensure a high quality staff. Chief Underwriter Multi-Line Specialty Unit - Handled Property and Liability on accounts up to $150 MM TIV. Also handled the Non-Traditional book of business for the New England Division. Chief II BMU - Handled the larger accounts in Massachusetts, exposure to various large accounts as well as developing the Mass High Tech Self Insurance Group and the NH Truckers Group.
