I was responsible for delivery of the new PwC Tower at Commercial Bay, this role primarily involves general development management tasks in relation to the tower as well as various interfaces with the Commercial Bay retail development. Completed in June 2020 the Tower had a current value on completion of c. $575m and provides some 39,000 sqm of state-of-the-art office accommodation in CBD Auckland.

Primarily this role involves general development management across the Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct (WQIP) in Auckland; tasks include master planning, design and consultancy team management, procurement, contractor management, marketing, contract negotiation, internal reporting and leasing. Having a value of $107m Stage 1 is now complete. With an estimated value on completion of c. $75m, Stage 2 is currently being marketed. The balance of the development will be spread over a further 2 stages and, on completion, the Innovation Precinct will provide some 46,000 square meters of prime commercial accommodation and have a value of c. $350m.As the land is held on a leasehold basis from what is effectively Auckland Council, the role also involves management of a number of council controlled organisations and iwi.

Senior Property Manager for Zurich House, 21 Queen St, HSBC House, 1 Queen St. The role involved general asset management of circa 35,000m² of A Grade CBD office space in Auckland including pivotal involvement in forming the long term strategies for the assets. In addition, to the general to the asset management requirements of the role I was also heavily involved with the WQIP development as well as undertaking a lead role in the contractual negotiations required to enable the Downtown retail and commercial development. The role also involved providing guidance and advice to younger members of the asset management team.

Property Manager for Zurich House, 21 Queen St, HSBC House, 1 Queen St and SAP Tower 151 Queen St in Auckland. The role involved general asset management of circa 50,000m² of A Grade CBD office space including pivotal involvement in forming the long term strategies for the assets. During the time spent in this role I completed leasing transactions totalling over $5,000,000 in annual revenue and managed numerous capital expenditure projects. In addition, I managed the divestment of the asset at 151 Queen St ($97m). Responsibilities outside of my core role included a key role in procurement of insurance for the Precinct portfolio as well as significant involvement in portfolio wide construction and consultancy contract negotiations. The role was heavily focused toward providing exemplary service to the building occupants and toward building strong relationships. Key tenants include Zurich, SAP, Marsh Insurance Brokers, Colliers International, Wilson Parking, HSBC, NZTA and CBRE.

Analysis and reporting for Precinct Properties NZ Ltd. Duties included traditional property level analytics (transactional analysis, portfolio statistics, bespoke research/analysis, feasibility studies etc.) as well as being responsible for all property level and corporate level financial forecasting. In addition, I was responsible for managing the asset valuation process for the entity.A key aspect of this role included controlling the yearly Business Planning process, this process involved completing a comprehensive financial forecast as well as a strategic review of the individual buildings and the portfolio as a whole. It also involved analysing complex capital structure, acquisition and divestment options.

I was responsible for managing the asset valuation process for the entity.Whilst at AMPCI I was also involved with aspects of the wider business including providinganalytical support to a number of special purpose real estate development vehicles. This was atboth a property level and at a corporate level.
