About Dave Macgregor

I have been actively mining for 20+years,with a lot of experience in open pit hard rock mining, and also experience working in the Tar Sands ,The last two years I have been working at Suncor and CNRL ,on projects like pipeline corridors and winter reclamation projects.I am a firm believer in safety and meeting all goals and objectives ,and dealing with all issues in a timely manner.Some of the positions I have held are, Mine Operation Supervisor, Senior Mine Foreman,and General Foreman and Superintendent.I am actively looking for a new opportunity and I look forward to the next challenge .Thanks for your time.Dave MacGregor

    Fording River operations is a large mine that has about 1000 employees, being the Senior Mine Foreman was a big learning curve for me as I learned how important it is to work with others to meet a common goal.It was my job to over see day to day operations, and to make sure all goals and objectives were met and all rules and regulations were followed.It was also important that everyone worked in a safe and productive manner. The Senior Foreman had a lot of input into the planning and engineering of the operation so everyone had to work well together to meet everyone's common goal.
