Mine Operations Senior Foreman working at the CNRL Mine site for KMC, working on the winter reclamation project which was just complete.Superintendent at Suncor Base mine ,looking after daily mining operations for KMC Mining,and project work such as Pipeline corridors, and MFT cell cleanup , and road construction,and daily truck shovel operations.

Tumbler Ridge

I was in charge of day to day mining operation, I made sure all employees had a safe and productive environment to do their job. I was working with a good group of foreman,we made sure our mine plan was followed and all rules and regulations , were followed. I also spent a lot of time working with the engineering group to keep the mine plan up to date and productive.

Elkford

Fording River operations is a large mine that has about 1000 employees, being the Senior Mine Foreman was a big learning curve for me as I learned how important it is to work with others to meet a common goal.It was my job to over see day to day operations, and to make sure all goals and objectives were met and all rules and regulations were followed.It was also important that everyone worked in a safe and productive manner. The Senior Foreman had a lot of input into the planning and engineering of the operation so everyone had to work well together to meet everyone's common goal.
