Testing includes; ASI/RF optical links, SDI (Standard Definition & High Definition signals), Encoders, Decoders, Frame syncs., Switches and Distribution amps. Collection of all test data to be formatted for customers.• Off-air Broadcast TV and Satellite downlink site surveys. Complete testing of signals and overview of potential build sites. • Specialization in performing IPTV & Traditional Head-End FCC Proof of Performance testing and trouble-shooting.• Ability to perform Project Management, Sales, Design, and other technical support tasks as required.• Provide domestic and international technical support/training for a wide range of Fiber Optic, satellite antenna outside plant and headend products/systems.• Activation and standard configuration of several Transport Systems including Analog, Digital, RF, Microwave, Baseband, Cisco ONS 15454 DWDM Optical Platform, installs & turn-ups.• Configuration, Balance and Alignment of Broadband Headend products including IPTV-Encoders, Satellite Receivers, Processors, Modulators, Demodulators, Up-Converters, ad insertion, and Power Supplies.• Detailed operational knowledge of major headend/hub products and various digital products.• Supervision of Installers and Field Engineers as required for construction, daily field operations, and provisioning of new systems.
