I understand the profound and lasting impact hunger can have on a person, a family, and a community. As executive director of Feeding the Foothills, I oversee more than 70 local hunger relief partnerships. I also oversee FTF staff, the board of directors, programs, and a vast volunteer base. I am involved with hunger relief at the state and federal levels and serve on the California Association of Food Banks board.In my 35-year tenure at Feeding the Foothills, I have led the organization through economic recessions and service expansions. I also helped earn Feeding the Foothills the prestigious designation of member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization.Dave earned a bachelor's degree from Sacramento State. When I'm not advocating for the needs of Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada County residents, I enjoy spending time with family.
