As interim, and then permanent CFO I led the transition and start-up stand-alone financial operations of Advantage Rent a Car, a $400M brand acquired by Macquarie Capital and FSNA from the Hertz Corporation in December 2012. Implemented core financial, reporting, FP&A, tax and operational infrastructure to support the brand. I built the finance team and financial controls and negotiated agreements with critical suppliers, including closing $170 million in fleet financing lines for acquisition of incremental fleet. I supervised the sale of the Advantage brand, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2013 following a contract dispute. Led finance component in securing $36 million in interim DIP financing and Critical Vendor continuity. Oversaw discussions and diligence process with multiple bidders in auction process, with Advantage awarded to a Canadian private equity firm in December 2013
