My commitment is to improve outcomes for people with persistent pain. This idea has challenged me to find new ways to do healthcare. Our work is guided by ideas of efficiency and effectiveness. Effective, because people are trusting us with their pain and we need to deliver. Efficiency makes sure that our service is affordable, which allows us to provide a meaningful service to the people we have set out to support. Our team believes that the solution to both of these challenges lies in research. As a result, we work closely with leading scientists to develop and test pathway models of care, and we are now confident that we have a system that works for people with chronic pain. I am incredibly proud of the team of clinicians that we have brought together across Permission to Move, Form Health and Untanglr. I feel confident that our projects are on the leading edge of pain treatment internationally.
