Dave has worked for over 20 years in the AEC industry, originally training in structural engineering with Mott MacDonald. He later joined Building Design Partnership for several years as the Technical Applications Manager. He also worked for 5 years in the manufacturing industry with Champion Automotive. Prior to joining the Practice, Dave was a founding partner of Evolve, a specialist CAD and BIM consultancy working with many of the top 100 Architectural and Engineering firms in the UK and abroad. Dave is a Partner at SimpsonHaugh responsible for the practices ICT and applications systems as well as leading other practice initiatives such as obtaining ISO certification.Dave is proficient in the use, support, customisation, standardisation and integration of numerous packages and Information Management Technologies. With an advanced understanding of application life cycle management and technology to process integration.Dave’s well-rounded experience coupled with a Master in Business Administration provides invaluable CAD / BIM, ICT, business know how and understanding to the Practice, projects and staff. Through pragmatic solutions to support key business strategies and projects Dave leads the ICT / project support team in the delivery and support of new technologies and procedures with minimal disruption to the Practice and project teams.
