I am driven by the power of influencing people.Watch video samples, download my full resume, and read public relations success stories at DavidMozeleski.wordpress.com.Whether it’s through television promos, eBlasts/eAlerts, direct mail, creative web copy or good-old face-to-face interaction, my job is to help people make a decision. One common factor of each position I’ve held is the process of gathering and sharing ideas companywide. Working in marketing and promotions affords me the opportunity to see what multiple departments or sectors in the company are doing, and then connect the right people to share the ideas. This leads to growth among departments and leads to cost savings because work is not repeated. Each position also had a degree of being an influencer. From writing a compelling tease to make a viewer stay tuned to the 11pm news, showcasing to donors why they should support public media, helping seniors and adult children choose the right retirement community, convince a reporter or assignment editor why they need to cover my pitched story, or engaging a social media user to make them comment on a post, making an audience see something in a different light and giving them the proper information to make an informed decision is something I relish.
