Cae Consultant Engineer
As a CAE Consultant Engineer I was responsible for providing CAE support for clients on site and from our head-office. This primarily consisted of design and analysis for various automotive safety systems, using linear implicit and non-linear explicit crash analysis FE codes, reporting of the results and recommendations for further developments.Whilst I was at Simpact Engineering I was also tasked with investigation into diversifying our field of clients, as the Automotive sector was our primary customer, and the market forecast was not showing any signs of growth. As part of the diversification team, I was able to instigate diversification into non-automotive sectors, by setting up and chairing meetings with a market research team, provide initial analysis where required, and liaise with other Engineering companies for consultancy work.
