Synthesized novel organometallic complexes.Co-founder and Chair of the 1st Banff Symposium on Organic Chemistry; a student organized weekend event showcasing graduate student research across Canada and featuring keynote lectures by renowned chemists. Supported by industrial and academic funding. Now a biennial event (http://www.bsoc.ca) co-organized by graduate students from several western Canadian universities.
