In 2020, I was promoted to take on an expanded scope that included full membership on the Compensation Committee for the Board of Directors. I led a 4-person team of direct reports and managed a $3M operating budget. ✔ Partnered with leaders to design and implement a field structure that included current staffing and multi-leader scope of work to support a period of rapid growth for the company (15 new stores each year). ✔ Promoted 60% of store managers from within after implementing a structure designed to support growth. These efforts recouped/reduced costs and improved employee retention.✔ Developed and rolled out proactive training to prevent recurring employee relations issues, which significantly cut the rate of incidents. Reduced the number of annual investigations in the distribution centers from 150 to less than 50 while the number of fulfillment centers supported nearly doubled, from 800 to 1,500.

I managed a $20M operating budget and 12 direct reports with 150+ in the rollup.✔ Oversaw the planning and implementation of security technology, operations, compliance, and investigations. Maintained leadership accountability for the function during the company’s largest growth period and a complex merger with a competitor. Fostered trust organization-wide and prevented exposure to employees, shareholders, and the brand.✔ Created and executed an intelligence-led program (leveraging Six Sigma) focused on root cause analysis, organizational loss control, and risk mitigation while improving the customer experience. ✔ Significantly reduced bad debt from $3.7M to $1.1M across the company’s e-commerce platform while lowering operating expense and implementing improved fraud strategies.
