I started in the industry in 1972 in Thief River Falls MN. I working for my father at the time so I had to learn everything there was to know at that time and learn it well. He sold his company in 1977 so I left and pursued another occupation for a year. I did not care for it so I moved to the Twin Cities in 1979 where I worked for a few different paving contractors. In 1988 decided to start my own business with 3 employees. Today I still have 1 original employee with 29 others. Through out the years I have learned as much as possible about the asphalt industry and kept up with all of the new products and techniques associated with them. My goal is to provide the customer with my professional evaluation and offer all of the options they may have. Here at Metro Paving we expect the employees to treat every job as if it was there property and would they except it when finished.
