I’m an accomplished Los Angeles-based Cinematographer and Director with numerous credits in both film and television. With over two decades in the industry, I have showcased my versatility across various genres and formats, including pilots, commercials, comedy sketches, documentaries, unscripted reality, and feature films.My journey began in Orlando, Florida, where I studied film and mastered color theory, lighting techniques, and narrative storytelling. I worked my way up through the industry, starting as an electrician and lighting board operator, then advancing to Gaffer and eventually Cinematographer. Concurrently, I gained experience as a camera operator, shooting everything from shorts and commercials to television shows and feature films.I view my role as a Cinematographer as a collaborative partnership with the Showrunner, Producer, and Director. My responsibility is to execute their vision using lenses, cameras, and lighting. I stay current with new technologies and methods to enhance my craft. My diverse resume includes projects ranging from car races and family dramas to comedies. Notable television credits include "The Late Late Show," "Making It," "Next Level Chef," and "Secret Chef." My feature film credits include "Fifty Shades of Black," "Naked," and "Half Baked: Totally High."After more than a decade as a cameraman, I expanded my role to include Directing. My directorial debut was TLC’s “My Five Wives” season one, followed by “Joyride” for Esquire Network,” Roku’s “Best Bite Wins,” and some episodes of Apple’s “Carpool Karaoke.”I embrace new technologies to enhance visual storytelling, seamlessly integrating humor and human emotion into my work.
