Point of Sale, Rental and Reservation Systems Integration

Oversaw the product development and successfully brought to market "Galaxy Connect™" a new SaaS based product and LOB. Galaxy Connect™ seamlessly integrates travel resellers, distributors and wholesalers with their destination suppliers (attractions, venues, etc.) to enable consumer real-time bookings for capacity managed products through limitless sales channels while eliminating the need for physical voucher/exchange, streamlining reconciliation, and preventing fraudulent sales and transactions. Product Manager and Lead Architect. Responsibilities included:- Creating, managing and delivering upon Product Roadmap- Defining all application and integration requirements- Working directly with sales and biz dev to define pricing model and sales strategy, as well as assisting with acquiring new distribution customers and partners - Working with engineering to lead/assist with engineering requirements, design, and product architecture- Working on SCRUM team as Product Owner to define user stories and acceptance criteria, and approve/reject for product release- Working with support team to define (new) support processes and protocols for new product. Provided training sessions and materials.- Working with project management to schedule and prepare customer implementations.- Working with dev-ops to ensure a streamlined product rollout process, manage product releases, oversee cloud infrastructure, and foster inter-departmental communication with developers and engineers.- Working with executives to present product roadmap, solicit feedback, and ensure business alignment.- Working directly with attraction customers to plan, configure and go live with product implementations.- Working directly with distributors and integrations engineers to provide technical support, certify API integrations, and launch new sales campaigns with integrated partners/suppliers- Serving as liaison between distributor and supplier sales, operations, and engineering teams

As the Chief Technology Officer at City Pass, a leading consumer facing and destination marketing company in the Leisure Travel sector, Dave was responsible for creating, growing and leading the company's first ever Technology organization with a vision to support corporate scalability, technology adoption, business growth, process improvement and career development of technical staff. In his role as CTO, Dave initiated and guided this vision by leveraging and developing strategic cloud based technologies to ensure long corporate longevity, relevance and a mission to build more streamlined and simplified business and process models for corporate partners and internal operations.Shortly after joining City Pass, Dave was able to quickly recruit a top-flight team of technology professionals and software engineers. Through the envisioning of reengineering process, Dave spearheaded the development of a cloud platform that revolutionized the ways mission critical partners conducted business with City Pass. By leveraging appropriate cloud based technology, a new model was established that integrates and encapsulates several external data sources and flows to provide a single cohesive and unified set of business practices, patterns and experiences for multiple groups of stakeholders. Through API integration, data consolidation and wireless technology, his leadership became visible to the partner technology community by way of immediate positive impact, decreasing time consuming and manual intensive legacy processes.
