- Management of production processes, coordination of all activities including the planning of resource and schedules to ensure workflow meets required sales targets.- Close co-ordination with the Quality Department to determine quality control standards. - Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary.- Organising the repair, routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment and machines.- Provide support and mentoring the company Production Engineering Apprentice.- Recruitment of new Production Operators and support for other staff recruitment.- Organising relevant training sessions.- Support to Managing Director and all other departments including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing / Stores, Finance and Sales.

- With the closure of Honda Engineering Europe Ltd in July 2021 I was the lead person for managing the transfer of all electronic and hard copy data to Japan and Honda Motor Europe along with the disposal and confidential disposal of assets and IT related equipment.- To support closure activity, I implemented policy and procedure in line with legal requirements for archiving and developed and closely monitored a structured and robust Business Closure plan.- Success of the business closure activity was also attributed to my working with and coordinating a core support team of 5 associates to control the confidential disposal and return to ISD of IT related equipment, technology and assets along with drafting in other associates for assets, electronic and hard copy data disposal and archiving.- Business closure completed successfully achieved with a 3 month reduction to plan in closure activity from 15 months down to 12 months.

- Managing the Die Block Department responsible for Toolroom and Planning Groups for Press, Die Cast and Injection Mould tooling and associated fixtures. Other responsibilities included company Data Security Officer, Risk Management Officer, employee Training and appraisal, and lead support for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.- As part of the company Business Plan, I worked on a strategy to align and bring in-house the design and manufacture of particular sets of press tools including Front Fender, Rear Panel Inner, Hood Skin, Hood Frame, Front and Rear Floors which were typically procured from other Honda Global sites. This led to the strengthening of engineering core skill and to produce highly competitive tooling.- Overall responsibility for the cost competitiveness and global manufacture supply for Die Cast and Plastic Injection Mould Tooling installed in the Honda facilities including UK (Swindon), Turkey, Italy and USA. This contributed towards an enhanced global cross functional technical resource.

- Responsible for the development, organisation and control of group planning activity ensuring competitiveness by achieving 20% under cost global targets. Managing project control teams for Press, Die Cast and Plastic Injection tooling through the evaluation of projects from project start-up timing through to installation and mass production along with verifying the quality output through trials and shipping evaluations.- Coordination and support to teams for the project technical proposals based on Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety aspects along with technical judgements, engineering changes and any other change points.- Managing project reviews on a weekly to confirm deliverables were to plan and encouraging the use of PDCA techniques (Plan, Do, Check, Action) to overcome plan out concerns, problems or potential delays.

- European Project Manager for a large Volvo Truck project supporting lead Project Manager based in Ogihara Japan. This involved regular and extensive travel along with working and living in Sweden, Japan and South Korea over a twenty month period, often staying in Japan for up to three months at a time.- Key duties that I carried out included welfare support to customer (whilst staying in Japan and South Korea), cost control, engineering change management, tool design and pattern buyoffs in Japan, trials and buyoff with customer in Japan, Sweden, South Korea and the UK.- As a UK based Project Controller working in Sales and Projects and using my knowledge and experience gained, I consolidated a customer base with Land Rover and BMW for first choice supplier of engineering changes for larger press tools which led to an increase in annual sales.- Other roles and responsibilities that I performed was the creation of 2D & 3D surface models for RFQ and Simulation. I also used this modelling data to create NC Programs for the CNC machines in the toolroom using Delcam's PowerShape and PowerMill software.
