Independent consultant advising and managing key issues for Vice Presidents of amajor defense contractor in multiple business areas. Actively participating in strategy development, capture team, business development, and flight operations activities in a new business area. Advising, guiding and developing strategy for over $5B in major business capture efforts.

Responsible for management of the day-to-day operations of San Antonio’s leading business organization, representing the Chamber to the Board of Directors, membership and community, while increasing the Chamber’s overall workforce effectiveness and outreach into the community.

Responsible for developing policies and programming resources for aircrew training programs. These include undergraduate flying, post-graduate combat crew, and supplemental training for the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Reserve and Guard personnel; international partners; and Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. Along with formulating training policy, he maintains the ability to respond to peacetime contingencies and expeditionary requirements, and to execute AETC command and control in peace and war.

Assisted the United States Military Representative in deliberations and actions on the Military Committee, the highest military authority of NATO. Advised the US Ambassador to NATO on military matters and actions for the alliance. Worked closely with military representatives of NATO and Partnership for Peace member nations to develop policy recommendations for the political authorities of the Alliance.

Directed the activities and operations on the Air Force's second-busiest airfield, operating over 200 aircraft flying more than 55,000 sorties a year. The wing delivered over 200 Undergraduate Pilot Training graduates annually, along with 150 graduates of Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals and 80 Pilot Instructor Training graduates. 13 NATO countries participate in the unique Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program.
