Recoveries can be as simple as a ferry permit to complex helicopter extraction form a mountain side. Our team at AMF Aviation will train the proper way to disassemble, load and off load an aircraft to ensure the integrity of the aircraft during travel. We work hand in hand with the NTSB, FAA and insurance adjusters to provide a safe and thorough recovery, while being sensitive to the tragedy that has occurred. Aircraft TransportationWe take great pride and care in providing ample cushioning, padding and strapping to guarantee the delivery of your aircraft to our facility or to your repair station. DOT requirements for the driver and vehicle for under 26,000 LBS are trained and followed from securing the load throughout transport until delivery. In addition, specialized material handling equipment training and certification is also provided. Aircraft StoragePreparation for long or short term storage requirements are instructed. Each aircraft is tagged and photographed upon arrival and radios, avionics and any requested equipment are removed, tagged, and locked indoors. We have a 3,500 square foot hangar available should the aircraft need to be inspected at a later date. Mishap inspectionWorking alongside of the NTSB, FAA, manufactures and insurance adjusters on scene or at the storage facility is the most rewarding part of the company’s mission. Assisting with the investigation to identify root causes of to prevent future mishaps is fulfilling. Skills required to lay out and recreate the aircraft prior to the mishap will be demonstrated by the NTSB and aircraft manufactures.
