Leading the in-house multi-disciplined Infrastructure Engineering teams, to deliver company and departmental objectives. The role comprises team management - seeking to build upon strengths within the unit, and developing individuals to further themselves; project management; organisational skills - using Kanban and Agile to harness the team's output; liaising with other internal resources, as well as third-party suppliers. The Infrastructure Engineering teams provide technical direction and expertise for the business; furthermore, giving support to other teams within the IT family.The Infrastructure team have oversight for all aspects of Bupa Dental UK's Cloud, Core, Network and Security infrastructure, either directly or by using third-parties. Managing an estate of 9,000 users across more than 480+ sites in the UK and ROI has a number of technical challenges, which make for a very interesting and varied role!
