• Report into Director of Certification Programs, manage a team comprising of team managers, customer associates and project coordinators; managed 2 major energy efficiency programs totaling more than 6,000 certifications a year across multiple Industries. • Responsible for maintaining global processes/revised procedures for the energy efficiency programs at UL to align with new ISO/IEC 17065 requirements.• Manage key relationships with various government energy agencies and their consultants (e.g. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Energy (DOE), California Energy Commission (CEC), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), ICF International and Navigant Consulting), resulting in UL being seen as a thought leader in the Energy Efficiency space.• Implement requirements from accreditation bodies to maintain UL’s good standing as a certification body. Lead both the internal and external audit processes for each of the global offices on an annual basis.• Lead the Certification Office that coordinates with cross-functional teams across over 10 global locations to ensure the accuracy of test results and creates certification packages. Prioritize, project manage and QA requests to IT organization to keep up with changing data standards. • Provide monthly updates on regulatory changes to test engineers across different business units.• Performe the Sales & Marketing Engineering function for Energy Efficiency by developing training modules and brochures on new test offerings for external customers and internal sales teams.• Responsible for the Profit and Loss of the Performance sector, including monitoring the Direct Contribution Margin, Gross Margin, Managing expenses and realizing revenue.
