Over the last 25 years I have progressively held increasingly diverse and complex leadership roles in industrial construction operations. Having managed construction projects, pipe fabrication, module assembly facilities and regional offices in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation and pulp and paper sectors. With broad experience in new construction, revamp, debottlenecking, shutdowns/turnarounds and base plant maintenance. My continuing goal is to utilize superior leadership skills to take on new and challenging roles in Construction. I am passionate about developing strong business relationships with clients and mentoring and empowering strong project teams focused on operational excellence with a primary consideration for Safety and Quality performance while being able to achieve strong results in schedule, project cost adherence and profitability. I believe in strong processes, procedures and execution strategies and have well developed technical skills with advanced experience in project controls systems, project management, proposal development, contract administration, risk management and estimating.Most recently, I managed Western Canadian unionized field operations as Vice President of Construction Operations for the construction of various significant projects in western Canada with annual construction revenues over $200M.
