I led strategic change and product innovation throughout my 32-year career at Progressive Insurance. Operating roles included P&L responsibility for fast-growing business units with $3 billion+ in revenue and strategy development and execution for product design, consumer marketing and strategic partnerships. Functional experiences include countrywide leadership roles in product management, product R&D and consumer marketing.I had frequent interactions with Progressive’s board in my roles as CEO of the homeowners insurance business, general manager of usage based insurance, strategic leader for preferred market strategy and product research leader. In each of these roles, I worked closely with data scientists, statistical analysts and product development teams to provide strategic focus for the analytic work and capture business value through effective product design and execution.
