Trinidad, Colorado Field Office

Currently I'm the acting Field Engineer in the Raton Basin, responsible for technical aspects of Pioneer's frac, coiled tubing and cement operations. I'm frequently involved with corporate technical projects and PNR's other assets in Texas' West Panhandle, Permian Basin, and South Texas/Eagleford districts. I have been an active member of a key safety.

I was initially hired as a Roustabout, preparing new locations with equipment for drilling and completion activities, and hooking up surface equipment to place well on production. I was soon advanced to Lease Operator, maintaining surface equipment and maximizing production of up to 80 natural gas (CBM) wells.

From entry level laborer to Crew Leader, I helped build compressor facilities and pipeline infrastructure to transport natural gas within and from the Raton Basin. This was not a glorious job but rescued me from the unemployment line and supplied the foundation for me to begin a successful career in a new industry.

I was responsible for booking a roster of performing artists into live theaters and other venues throughout the Southeastern region of the USA.

After honorable discharge from the US Army, I lived my dream working primarily as a performing musician, supplementing my income with various temporary and odd jobs. Poverty eventually brought me back to reality, so I cut my hair and entered the conventional job market! I continue to play and perform to this day, sometimes for money but always for the love.

Ultimately attaining the rank of Sergeant/E-5, I was a small arms infantryman and paratrooper (11B2P). Initially I was assigned to a line platoon, then assigned as the driver for the Executive Officer of our company, and finally as the Motor Sergeant in charge of all company vehicles, drivers and equipment. I made 30 tactical jumps during my term of service.
