A lifelong interest in music and sound has led me to a career of more than three decades in transportation-related noise measurement & analysis, with occasional forays and excursions into the worlds of music recording and electronic music synthesis and production... The focus of my work has been in support of FAA's Office of Environment & Energy, involving all aspects of aircraft noise certification.I also compose and record electronic music as a hobby, alone - under the nom de musique, "am0eba" (ASCAP), and via internet-based collaboration as "epiphany algorithm" (ASCAP).Other interests along the way have included hobbyist computing and programming, graphic design, creative and technical writing, various consumer-oriented user groups, and most any kind of technology - especially relating to vehicles.
