•Created a new role to influence Head Office, Direct telephone and Network sites to take a consistent approach to credit risk management through adopting best practices and initiatives or effecting change to existing ones.•Implemented a quality strategy, and risk and governance framework to ensure the identification, prioritisation and management of credit risks within the Retail Bank as well as mitigation of potential or future risks. •Managed a team and coached them to develop a KRI tool to highlight weaknesses in the Retail business Planning and execution of remote and site reviews of credit processes within the retail bank. Subsequent preparation of high quality reports making recommendations to the business to adopt changes.
