Dave served as Managing Director with Bay Valuation Advisors (“BVA”), where he spent a decade growing the company and cultivating relationships in the market. Mr. Ribando earned a reputation for technical excellence and developed cutting-edge valuation models that kept pace with the evolving GAAP standards. He also led talent initiatives by attracting and mentoring top-performing employees.

Dave served as Senior Manager in the Advisory Services practice of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP. During his 10 years at Deloitte, he provided valuation services to major technology and life sciences companies in Silicon Valley and around the world. Dave also worked closely with Deloitte Audit to review third-party valuation opinions to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

This role was Dave's hazing experience into the valuation world! His workday typically began at 7am and ended well after 10pm, Saturday and Sunday included. Nose to the grindstone performing market research on a five-year old computer that was barely Internet capable. The only saving grace was the tremendous camaraderie at the staff level for those undergoing the same torture.
