Dave leads the Smart Delivery Project for the PwC Australia Assurance team, bringing together the very best of teams and technology. His leadership role in Finance Transformation and collaboration with onshore & offshore delivery teams is implementing digital optimisation and operational excellence. With extensive External Audit experience in Australia, the UK and PNG, he's helped large Australian and multinational organisations understand, evaluate and apply Australian and International Accounting Standards, and deliver Audit and Assurance services that comply with Australian and International Auditing Standards. In 2021 he was seconded to an ASX 50 Organisation as the Technical Accounting and Group Reporting Leader, delivering leadership in interpretation and adoption of Australian Accounting Standards, and coverage of all aspects of the Annual Report. He has 6 years experience leading an outsourced methodology support division - navigating the changes to AASB 9, 15 and 16, as well as the IFRIC Agenda Decision on Software Customisation and configuration costs, the introduction of ASA540r and ASA315r.Dave has over 17 years experience of delivering excellence in professional services, and is using his skills, energy and enthusiasm to develop and deliver the next generation of audit - building connections and bringing confidence and credibility to the Centre of Excellence, Skilled Services Hub, Acceleration Centres and Casuals Hub.TL;DR Dave loves People, Assurance & PwC and wants to bring them together to deliver awesome experiences.
