Having grown up on a farm my love for agriculture began early in life. My farming background gives me an in-depth understanding of how farmers benefit from technology. I use this insight when developing products and solutions that are needed out in the field by both farmers and agents. I started on the ground floor when precision ag and mapping were new technologies. I took the first ever call to support our new Precision Ag Solution and have been improving it ever since. Having a robust understanding of how systems and processes are utilized in the ag industry, I pioneer the development of product solutions that increase efficiency and productivity while driving down costs. My strength is getting a group organized around solving problems and delivering innovative high-tech solutions. At my core, I am a problem solver who uses technology and a deep knowledge base to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and business needs.As a leader, I build teams that work great together. When there is a problem to solve, solutions are found through collaboration and brainstorming where input from all team members is welcome. I strive to create an open and positive environment for my team where hard work and achievements are celebrated. Employees perform best when they are valued and appreciated.What I’m most proud of in my career so far is creating a revolutionary process that automated the acreage reporting procedure for agents when using Farm Service Agency data. Due to the success and impact of the process, it was widely adopted throughout the majority of the industry.It’s my goal to continue leading technology projects in the agriculture industry, working with customers, and developing solutions to meet their needs.
