Alfalfa Product Manager. Legacy Seeds is the only independent alfalfa breeding company in North America. I work with the Legacy Seeds dealer network to sell Legacy Brand alfalfa. I also license private label Legacy bred alfalfa varieties with international, national, and regional seed accounts. I often support sales with agronomic and marketing advice.
I began blogging about cover crops to help farmers learn more about the benefits that cover crops can bring to their operation. I share on-farm and university research along with agronomic advice of how to use different species for cover cropping and/or cover cropping+grazing purposes. I was a founding member of the Midwest Cover Crops Council and the only seedsman on the Council. I spoke across the Midwest on the value of improved forages and how to manage them for best profitability. I also spoke nationally and internationally on cover crops and their value.
